RZ 25B Soft Seat Coach

25B is an upgraded version of the 25 series. Its dimension, capacity, lugguage compartment, structural speed, body shell, bogie, braking system and buffer is the same as 25A and 25G. However, most of them have no air-conditioned. They are usually used in specified areas.

These non air-conditioned coaches uses 5 kW AC-DC power with coal heater for supplying hot water and ventilation.

The air-conditioned type uses individual air-conditioners which is the same as the 25G coaches.
