RW 25K Soft Sleeper

25K series high speed coaches were first made in 1996 with a maximum speed of 160 km/h. They were in large scale production one year later. Experience in quasi-high speed coaches were used. Dimensions were the same as 25G, 25A and 25B. They use CW-2C, 206KP, 209HS quasi-high speed bogies. Other features such as double wind-pipes, electronic braking technology, electronic anti-slipping technology, rubber-made gangway between coaches, centralized power supply, air-conditioning can be seen in these coaches. Fibre glass, ABS plastic and other new materials were used as the inner decorations. The first batch of coaches including soft sleepers (RW 25K), deluxe soft sleepers (RW 19K), hard sleepers (YW 25K), dinning coaches (CA 25K), lugguage coaches (XL 25K) and generator coaches (KD 25K) were produced in 1997.
