DDJ1 - Lanjian (Blue Arrow)

 

 

"Lanjian" (literally Blue Arrow) is another new push-pull EMU product developed by the Chinese railway. The engine (DJJ1 001) was built by GOFRONT (Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Works - ZELW) while the coaches were built by Changchun Works. This is the first Electric AC-DC-AC push-pull EMU ever built in China. It achieved the highest speed of 235km/h on Guangshen line in December 2000.
