Hong Kong Model Railways Association

Introduction

The Hong Kong Model Railways Association was originally established in 1997 comprising of a group of people focusing on model railway hobby. The Association has been registered in accordance with the Societies Ordinance as a non-profit making organization.

Owing to the lack of funds and venue for gathering of modelers, the Association remained dormant in the past few years. In May of this year, the working committee of the Association feels that it is the right time to re-activate the Association and to promote our Association to the public. It is our hope that the Association will provide a platform for all our members to exchange their experience in railway modeling in terms of technical field as well as static appreciation. Junior members are also welcome and it is our goal to lead them in digging the fun of railway modeling by learning from their senior and participating in layout making.

In the forthcoming meeting, we will arrange an oval layout with double tracks of size roughly 4 ft X 16 ft for members to run their models. Details of meeting date and venue will be broadcasted on the website of Hong Kong Railway Society. Stay tune.

Taking this opportunity, we would like to pay our sincere gratitude to Hong Kong Railway Society for their unlimited support in revitalization of the Association possible by providing resource in website sharing. May the intimate friendship of the two organizations last forever.
